Even though it has its flaws, I thought I would share this little menu of mine with everyone in case there's something here you can use, or if there's an idea here that leads you to an even better one you can implement in your classroom. All I ask is that if you come up with a super-fantastic idea, please share it with me--either in the comments or by emailing me.

I was asked to post the original objectives on which the menu above is based; they are below for your perusal. Like I said, there's way too much "stuff" in these objectives, and we are planning on whittling these down when we teach this unit this year. Also, keep in mind that the menu above was one of my first attempts to give students a shot at showing me advanced mastery of the objectives (it was developed during my first year of standards-based grading) rather than just proficiency, so a lot of the activities were designed so they could stretch their brains a bit.
